PLAN TO PROTECT
our
Child Protection Policy
God cares about your safety, and so do we!
At Faith Baptist Church, SAFETY of all children in our care is our PRIORITY.
FBC's Child Protection Policy, is a document of policies and guidelines relevant to the issues of safety.
It signifies our recognition of the importance of providing a safe and caring atmosphere in which our children and volunteers can develop a closer relationship with God. With these policies and guidelines we covenant to uphold our spiritual and moral responsibility to all infants, children and youth in our care.
At FBC, we are aware that we must model Christ's love and character. We are also aware of the need to select, support and train and care for the many volunteers and paid staff on our ministry teams as part of that process.
We want our church to be a place where all of those involved in ministry will find the church a safe loving and friendly place to grow spiritually. We take seriously our policies to prevent mistreatment and promote safety and will work to ensure that they are followed.
CPP Requirements:
All Volunteers, Ministry Leaders and Paid Staff, are required to take the Child Protection Policy Training, and provide a current criminal history check every three years.
